About This Property
Enjoy your time in Rochester in this blissful, freshly remodeled, beautifully furnished upper-level duplex just 5 minutes from Mayo Clinic. A bus stop is located one-half block down from the unit. This 3-bedroom, 1-bath unit has everything you might need to recover from a surgery or feel at home while seeking treatment.
Your furry friends are welcome (charge of $50/dog.)
This unit features blazing fast Internet and a Bluetooth speaker for your enjoyment. The kitchen contains everything needed for food preparation including a microwave, electric stove/oven, both a Keurig coffee maker and a traditional electric coffee pot, a blender, a full set of pots and pans, a dishwasher to make clean-up more convenient and a selection of common spices for cooking, as well as flour, sugar, and cooking oil. Bring your own groceries and you are set to live in your home-away-from-home as long as you need to!
There are BPA-free children’s dishes in addition to a full set of traditional dishware. We highly recommend when you arrive that you take a look in the cabinets and under the stove, so you familiarize yourself with all the appliances, dishes and utensils.
Relax in the living room with our gas fireplace TV stand, comfortable sofa and–the unassuming star of the show–the heated massage recliner. Those guests recovering from medical procedures find the lift function of this chair a big help.
One of the bedrooms includes a dedicated workspace, including a desk, an office chair and a lamp. Two bedrooms include hybrid queen mattresses (with foam mattress toppers), blackout curtains, 100% cotton sheets, and extra bedding if you like to sleep toasty warm.
The third bedroom features a camping theme. It was carefully designed to make a child’s stay a memorable one, complete with a tent, a bunkbed with forest animal sleeping bags, and thoughtfully chosen creative toys and books designed to delight your little ones. (Traditional bedding is also on site for older guests using the “bunkhouse.”)
The house has central heat and window air conditioners plus a fan if you like white noise when you sleep.
Cleaning supplies you may want during your stay are stored in the living room and hallway closets as well as under the kitchen sink.
Access to the onsite laundry room is via a separate entrance from the back of the building. Entrance to the building does include a stairway with six steps.
Due to the fire hazard, no open candles or flames are allowed on the property.
